Matthew a.k.a “Chip” // Founder
RENDEQ, Inc. was founded in 2003 by Matthew (Chip) and Judy in Burlington, NC. Chip had spent over 20 years in the rendering industry honing his skills in plant operations. Chip quickly developed a reputation of expertise in rendering operations – specifically how to design, build, repair and install equipment better suited for the increasing operational demands of the industry. Chip has over 35 years of experience in rendering plant operations and maintenance as well as 15 years of manufacturing and service expertise. His expertise in the rendering operations industry is unparalleled. He is a sought-out adviser with a unique ability to diagnose and improve equipment efficiency and capacity issues. Chip is a “hands-on” leader and serves in his church and community. Married for over 37 years, Chip has three children, Mike, Brandon and Emily.
Mark // CEO & President
Mark has started, developed and managed more than fifteen companies over his 25+ year career. Mark’s background in operations, finance and sales have helped RENDEQ grow from a small company with two employees to a 5M+ enterprise with more than 25 employees in just seven years. During those years, RENDEQ has developed a strong reputation for quality equipment, efficient and professional service as well as becoming a leader in providing creative and efficient solutions for our customers. Mark is actively involved with his church and community and believes he is called to love and serve those in his community and abroad. Married for over 35 years and the father of two amazing kids. Mark also enjoys riding and teaching motocross.
Will // Chief Operating Officer
Will leads from the front, streamlining operations, sales, and marketing, leveraging his disparate entrepreneurial experiences to keep Rendeq smart and nimble. Will has degrees in both engineering (from Georgia Tech) and business (from Wake Forest), using both to structure his thinking, but not limit his creativity. During the course of his career, Will has served as a product manager, digital strategist, innovation consultant, writer, Chief Strategy Officer, business owner, and in many creative, strategy, and innovation roles. When not at Rendeq, you can find Will on his bike, on the pitch, or cooking something delicious. Will has two grown daughters (Emma and Meghan) studying to be mad scientists and social justice crusaders respectively. He couldn’t be prouder.
